Passing of the Torch
What happens when you take hundreds of images collected from numerous YouTube videos produced by two established figures in the video game industry who went on one of the greatest documented adventures of our time? You get pure awesomeness.
Isaiah Triforce Johnson and CND (Captain Nintendo Dude) went on that adventure. They chose to wait a month in advance for the new Nintendo Switch to launch. "Why" you may ask? Because Triforce felt it was time for him to retire and that it is time for a new generation to take the helm. It is a passing of the torch ceremony.
Triforce Johnson holds many Guinness World Records for being first to purchase and receive numerous Nintendo Systems and video games on launch day. He has been handed these by the President of Nintendo himself. He felt it was time to pass the legacy on to another. Enter CND.
Captain Nintendo Dude is a huge Nintendo fan, who has continued to grow in popularity online through his YouTube channel. He let his fans know about his desire to go to NewYork to wait in line to purchase a Nintendo Switch at the Nintendo NY store and they helped raise money to allow him to go. What they did not know was that he would surprise them by going early to not only wait, but to be first.
He contacted Triforce for tips and wisdom and after a long conversation he and Triforce decided to wait together to ensure he is first on launch day. Triforce found his successor in CND, a true Nintendo fan.
These products were ready prior to the Switch launch but due to circumstances were not available. We hope you enjoy them anyway.

Worth The Wait - Designed by Joshua Redfearn
I am a designer and gamer at heart. I knew about Triforce and came across CND (Captain Nintendo Dude) through YouTube some time back.
When I learned they were both going to wait in line for a month to be first for the Nintendo Switch launch and document it through YouTube - I made it a point to tune in, and lets just say they both gained a new subscriber.
The community of Nintendo fans turned up to spend time with them and it looked so fun. I wanted to be a part, but I live too far away. So I thought to myself, "what can I do?", I decided to use my talents and create.
I created the it's Worth The Wait design using a photo mosaic method mixed with graphic elements. It's a good mix and is breathtaking to view in person.
Each part of Triforce and CND's face in the image is created with hundreds of actual footage shots of their YouTube videos. You can see everything from Triforce's famous mac and cheese (liquid gold) to CND holding the new Amiibo he purchased. It's all for fun and is a show of support from me to them since I was unable to attend. I would like to thank Triforce and CND for the opportunity to share my gift.
All sales have agreed to be distributed equally between CND, Triforce, and myself.
